I’m Sarah, a queer activist and corporate leader with an unwavering commitment to co-creating equitable, sustainable, and joyous communities. My core focus is on the critical intersection of social and environmental justice.
For over two decades I have been pursuing purpose and equity in my work. As a board member for non-profit societies, I have led fundraising and advocacy campaigns, and developed scholarships and community-centred programming for Indigenous students and young professionals. As a corporate senior executive, I have designed equitable systems that increase inclusivity and belonging, and power collaboration and sustainable business growth. And, as a community member focused on climate and social sustainability, I consistently give my time to aid and non-profit organizations, as well as values-aligned government and political campaigns.
I am committed to people. I prioritize collectivism over individualism and build teams and communities that centre joy and fulfillment.
I value diversity. I believe that bringing together diverse perspectives creates empathy and belonging, reshapes understanding, and heightens collective potential.
I believe in kindness. I know the way we collaborate, care, and journey together is more important than a sole destination could ever be.

Purpose + Strategy.
I lead organizations towards living out their mission and purpose by crafting strong positioning and actionable marketing and sales strategies. I excel at surfacing and articulating organizational values, and bringing them to life through effective and joyful collaboration, deliberate team development, and well-executed strategic initiatives.

Teamwork + Collaboration.
I have consistently built and developed creative, collaborative, and effective teams. My approach to team building emphasizes respectful, trusting relationships and models experimental growth mindsets. I oscillate between captain and coach—as a leader I am a locked arms ally, knee-deep in the trenches, as well as a steady shoulder of support and reason.

Content + Communication.
A product of journalism school and a voracious reader and writer, I am enthralled by great storytelling. Well-told stories have the power to compel, persuade, and change hearts and minds. Through my work, I bring care and integrity to constructing meaningful narratives in communication strategies, sales and marketing material, and purpose and positioning statements.
I am grateful to live on the traditional territory of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ First Nation.
